R&R Auto Works was founded by Mike and Christine Reiff in 2009. As a child, Mike spent his days watching his father repair cars in his own repair shop. It was during this time that Mike learned the value of every automobile, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any car or truck. When Mike graduated high school he decided to enter the U.S. Air Force to be a heavy equipment mechanic, where he learned how to use computer based diagnostic tools to enhance his deep knowledge of automobile engines. Although Mike was learning the most advanced techniques in auto repair, he never forgot the lessons he learned from his father all those years ago. His father used to repair and restore cars for friends and neighbors; asking for little compensation in return. Mike never forgot the gratitude of those his father helped. He never forgot the warm feeling he felt every time his father would deliver a repaired vehicle to someone who couldn't afford a new one. Mike was determined to honor his father by opening a business that would truly offer value to the community. He promised himself to always provide value and outstanding service, regardless of how large his business grew.  Mike and Christine met in the Air Force and got married a year after meeting.  After serving four and a half years in the Air Force Mike got out of the military and opened a used car lot where he was responsible for maintaining all vehicles that were purchased for sale.  Christine served eight years in the Air Force and after getting out her and Mike opened #1 Car Sales a used car dealership in Belleville, IL.  They had a small repair shop which repaired all dealership and customer vehicles.  When the economy took a turn for the worse Mike and Christine lost the dealership and were able to open R&R Auto Works.  Our lead mechanic Phillip has 15 years of experience and is a 4 star Chrysler Tech and a Hyundai certified tech, Phillip has worked  for Mike and Christine for 2 years and is a great asset to our shop.  Our lead body shop technician/manager is Danny Depper he has 35 years of experience and comes from a family of auto body technicians.
